Xijin Xu is an Associate Director at HighLight Capital in Shanghai, China, where she focuses on early-stage healthcare and biotech investment. She brings deep expertise in the evaluation and execution of life-science investment opportunities, combined with a strong scientific foundation in immunology. Prior to her career in venture investing, Xijin completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at the National Institute of Health (NIH) in the United States, where she conducted research in human immunology. Xijin earned her DPhil in Clinical Medicine from the University of Oxford and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Peking University.
