Patrick Sieber brings over 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical R&D, with extensive expertise in the mechanistic biology of drug targets and the development of novel, complex cellular models. He served as Associate Director, Principal Scientist, and Project Leader at Idorsia and Actelion Pharmaceuticals, where he led several drug discovery projects to preclinical stage and headed a research team responsible for developing innovative, disease-relevant cellular assays, including 2D, 3D, organoid, and co-culture models using CRISPR/Cas technology. Prior to this, Patrick held postdoctoral positions in molecular cell biology and genetics at the California Institute of Technology, USA and the University of Zürich, Switzerland. He earned a PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Zürich and holds a Postgraduate Degree in Pharmaceutical BD&L from the University of Manchester, UK.

Since 2024, Patrick has been overseeing operations and, together with Maria, the R&D programs at Allegria.
